I am very pleased with this unit. It chills off the room very quickly- (we installed it in a 10x14 bedroom). When set to low, it gives off a moderate amount of noise. I would suggest using all the insulation materials it comes with to help block outside air and allow the unit to work most efficiently. At this price point, I™€™m very happy with it!

Amazon filled the order quickly and arrived in excellent condition. Packaged well and very good assembly instructions and easy to assemble and install. The 12™€™ x 14™€™ room with high ceilings was very hot that i put it in. Within 2 hours the room was very comfortable in temperature. Going forward the unit continues to work well! Nice small unit would buy again!

Love my new 6,000 BTU AC. Keeps me nice and chilled when I sleep. I am puzzled, however, as to why these new Frigidaire ACs do not drain the condensation like my old Frigidaire ACs did. The new ones collect the condensation inside their housing, I assume waiting to evaporate. Not liking that at all. But the mosquitoes that discover the water there love it.

We have this unit in our bedroom. The room gets morning sun, but is on a second story that gets hit with a lot of sun and afternoon heat. It doesn™€™t usually get too hot where we live, but the house still heats up a bit. We have had this durinf 90-100 degree weather. And it makes things comfortable in the bedroom, which is nice. We have a bigger unit in the living room/kitchen thay is upstairs as well. And although it doesn™€™t do great at keeping rhe whole house cool, we definitely feel a temperature difference when stepping inside. Short story: keeps room cool and comfortable. Cheap to operate. Our room is 150-200sqft

Has everything anyone could ask for on an ac unit. Functionally cools the space in which it installed. Easy to install and comes with all necessary parts for installation. Extra long electrical cord makes reaching outlets easy. Frigidaire had the unit to me within 3 working days of ordering. I would have rated it a 5. , but it is slightly louder than I had anticipated, but not annoyingly loud.

I bought this unit in April. I started using it in June when the weather began to get hot. It did not cool off my small bedroom. Frigidaire replaced it via P.C. Richard and it is still not cooling things off and the replacement unit sounds like there is a freight train in the room. The compressor keeps turning on and off every minute and wakes me up all night. The first unit had less noise. Frigidaire had me submit a replacement request and said they would get back to me in 5-10 days. That's too long. It's summer and I'm an older person without help and I cannot keep paying people to put in and take out a window unit. By the time it's fixed, it will be winter. I think P.C. Richard got a bad batch of 6,000 btu units. I'm sorry I bought it.

I have owned a few of this model before, currently 1 still working, this one is as quiet at the ones in the past. Only change i see is the actual unit is a bit smaller from the ones made 5 years ago. Been running for 2 months now and cools the room just as good as the older ones.

The front portion of the unit is low-profile, which is nice, but it almost means there's not much to hold onto when you're installing this and pushing down the window to secure it. Doable, but be ready.

This unit was bought to replace a GE which only lasted 3 years. Since three years equated to 9 months summer use , four hundred dollars latter and it the GE craped out. Had Frigidaire before should have stuck with them. Been around and make quality products.
